David Stanley Transport, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of self-loading vehicles, have recently taken delivery of two new FASSI F820RA.2.27 cranes.
Mounted behind the cab of new 8x2 rigid Scania chassis cabs, supplied by local dealer Keltruck, the cranes will lift 3270kg at a maximum hydraulic reach of 18.30m. Both cranes were specified with additional hydraulic services for use with an existing fly-jib, as well as front outriggers offering 360-degree lifting performance.
Bodywork was designed by CCT to meet the exact requirements of David Stanley Transport, with longevity at the forefront of the specification – galvanised cross members, side rave, headboard and valance were all included as well as stainless steel toolboxes and hydraulic pull-out, keeping the vehicle looking good throughout its full lifespan.
These two new vehicles are the first of a multiple unit order, seeing significant fleet renewal for David Stanley Transport throughout 2022 and 2023.
