Van Elle Ltd., the UK’s largest ground engineering contractor, have recently taken delivery of a new FASSI F660RA.2.26 crane.
Operating out of their head office in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, the crane will lift an impressive 3100kg at maximum hydraulic reach of 16.10m and was mounted behind the cab of a new Volvo FH460 8x2 rear steer chassis cab supplied by Kevan Morris of Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd.
CCT worked closely with Van Elle Ltd. Transport Manager, Bret Topley, to design an impressive vehicle. Bodywork was built to meet their exact requirements and featured a stainless steel hydraulic rear pull-out and stainless steel toolboxes.
Additional equipment such as a stainless steel roof mounted Kelsa bar and FORS gold compliant 4-way camera system were also included within the specification.
